Through relentless hard work and a series of trial-and-error processes, we transformed our dreams into a successful business. After a prolonged and rigorous journey, we earned recognition not only from multiple provinces(states) but also from the Government of Indian itself , validating our efforts.
Through the STPI – Next Generation Incubation Scheme, we successfully secured investment from the Government of India, propelling the growth of our business.
In 2020, BallotNow Private Limited received DIPP Certification from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, officially recognizing it as a government-recognized startup in India.
It took us over 2 years to transform our initial idea into a comprehensive business plan. Moving from the business plan to the actual establishment of the business, we embarked on the journey of registering as a Private Limited company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
SHARK TANK
In 2021, as Shark Tank made its inaugural appearance in India, we were honored to receive an invitation to participate. Undergoing a rigorous selection process involving competition with over 62,000 businesses, and qualifying through multiple rounds of interviews,
we successfully advanced through the various stages.

We received recognition at the Bharat Innovation League as one of the promising startups, underscoring our commitment to innovation and excellence.
We secured position during the Business Awards at JIMS College..
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Over the time we have validated our business and its PMF (Product Market Fit) with some of India’s Top Notch Educational Institutions.
Invited by IIT Roorkee to participate in the e-summit, our pitch stood out among 1200 participants nationwide, ultimately earning us the runner-up position.
At IIT Bombay, we seized the opportunity to present our business idea in front of some of the exceptional tech entrepreneurs of our generation.
During the initial stages of our company, we sought mentorship from IIT Delhi and its professors. Although they were among the first few organizations I pitched to, who initially rejected the application. However, this experience became a valuable learning opportunity for the BallotNow team, contributing significantly to our growth.
The Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, commonly known as FMS, was once my dream place for management studies. Although I couldn’t pursue my studies there, I was invited to present my business in front of the college. That day was one of those moments when I felt confident, motivated, and proud of myself.
As a student of GGS Indraprastha University, I’ve had the opportunity to pitch at major business events across the campus, achieving ranks, trophies, cash prizes, and more.
At the Ashoka University Leadership Summit, I collaborated with four complete strangers from diverse backgrounds, cities, and languages. Tasked with creating a business for a positive societal impact, we developed a business plan, researched our product market fit, and presented to journalists, entrepreneurs, professors, and students. Our efforts secured the first position, earning us a cash prize.

BallotNow got selected under LEADERS PROGRAM organized by Ivey Business School, Western University in a partnership with Jain University Incubation Centre.
Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is the Government of India’s endeavor to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. BallotNow got selected in one of the AIM’s incubation Centre partnered with BIMTECH.
Wadhwani Foundation is one of the well known incubators/ accelerators for Indian Startups. BallotNow has graduated from their NEN Program for entrepreneurs.
